Kit Café includes a biodegradable coffee cup, saucer spoon and bean that you can plant with every set.

Portuguese designer, Joana Carvalho, has created an eco-friendly coffee kit made of biodegradable biopolymers. Kit Café is minimalistic but functional, and is made by a single injection mold. The design is inspired by plastic model kits and includes a cup, spoon and a saucer. The shape also allows the kits to be stackable to save space during transportation. As all pieces are made at the same time, production cost is kept to a minimum.

Kit Café even comes with coffee beans that can be planted with the kit after use. The biopolymer material can be composted and broken down without leaving any harmful traces of chemicals.
