Design A Nightclub For Heineken

Heineken's Open Design Exploration invites designers to submit a portfolio for the chance to design a concept nightclub.

Heineken is inviting up-and-coming designers to send them a portfolio for the chance to co-create a concept nightclub that will be unveiled during Milan Design Week in April 2012. Graphic, motion, fashion, interior and product designers living in New York City, Sao Paulo, Milan or Tokyo can enter via the Facebook page until August 14th.

80 designers will be selected to present their work at a design scouting night in one of the four cities listed above. The 20 designers who most impress the judges will then ’embark on a creative journey with Heineken.’ Working in groups, alongside industry experts, these finalists will tour nightclubs in their city for inspiration and then upload their concepts and videologs to get feedback from experts, fellow designers and consumers. The final designs will be selected in mid-October and the successful entrants will then work on their concept before unveiling it.
