Over 20 artworks, sculptures and other projects were created by the faculty and students.

The Festival of Arts, Science and Technology (FAST) Light earlier this year closed a series of events to celebrate 150 years of MIT. More than 20 installations were designed to highlight MIT’s leadership in energy-efficient technologies. The collection of architecture, sculptures, artworks, illuminations and other installations by the faculty and students transformed the campus with sound, light and innovation.

Among the FAST Light installations were a large-scale origami structure, an ice wall, a string tunnel, a light projection, giant inflatable stars, a plywood pavilion, and a floating artwork.
