Paul Budnitz, founder of art toys and apparel company Kidrobot, has turned his hand to something new with the launch of his high-end titanium city bike company.

Paul Budnitz Bicycles offers both a lightweight, fast commuting bicycle and a more relaxed bike with slick tires that is also suitable for dirt roads. Both bicycles are designed for the commuter market but offer something well-made, comfortable and sleek for the design-conscious cyclist. The all-titanium bikes feature only top-end components, hand-made by small boutique fabricators in the US and Europe. The first run of these bikes sold out before the company’s official site launch but the second run is now available, with both bicycles costing $5500 each.
