The real-time marketing tool for hotels provides them with a list of Twitter users planning to travel to their city.

Latvia-based start-up Reach.ly has launched a web platform that provides hotels with a filtered stream of tweets from users who announce they are traveling to a specific city, so that they can reach out to these potential guests.

Using text mining and semantic algorithms, a curated Twitter stream is produced on a hotel’s Reach.ly dashboard and they can communicate directly and in real-time using the interface.

Reach.ly enables hotels to send potential guests a greeting, perhaps some advice about the city, as well as a targeted offer that can fill a hotel room without going through a booking agency.
