The footwear brand announces a line of electronics and accessories for children that will launch early next year.

Skechers announced this week that it has signed a licensing agreement with consumer electronics manufacturer Sakar to produce a line of electronics and accessories for children. The items will feature Skechers branding and Skechers Kids' animated characters, including those from the Zevo-3 TV series.

The new range will feature MP3 players, molded ear buds, speakers, digital cameras, cases, skins, and USB flash drives, all inspired by Skechers Kids' footwear styles. They will be targeted at girls and boys from elementary through to high school. The president of Skechers, Michael Greenberg, said:
