Mobile advertising company Jumptap release a map showing the popularity of Android, iOS and Blackberry across America.

The leader in targeted mobile advertising, Jumptap has released a report mapping the U.S. in terms whether it’s 83 million users favor Android, iOS or Blackberry. Entitled The United States of Android, this map shows the geographical mobile makeup of America.

Yellow states show where Android is dominant, blue states are iOS fans and BlackBerry is popular in the gray states. As you can see, Android is mainly dominant in the South and Southwest states, while iOS is favored in the Northeast and Midwest states. In particular, California, Texas and Florida over-index for Android use and states in New England and the Midwest over-index for iOS use, according to the report, which can be downloaded here.
