Yesterday, the 2011 Frankfurt Auto Show opened for media previews. Here’s a quick recap of the notable concept and production car debuts from day 1 of the show.

The Volvo You Concept is a potential preview of what a future Volvo luxury sedan could look like. The You evolves design themes established from the Universe Concept debuted earlier this year at the Shanghai Motor Show. Design details on the exterior like the grille and headlights are said to be inspired by iconic Danish design house Georg Jensen. The interior is fitted with half a dozen touch screens some of which are activated by the driver looking at them An infrared camera tracks eye movements and brings the display out of sleep mode when needed.
