Airbnb Expands Into Monthly Stays With Sublets
The start-up announces that users can now rent out their apartments or book a long-term stay for months at a time.
Airbnb announced yesterday that it is expanding its service to offer users long-term stays in global locations. You can now search through over 30,000 monthly rentals in 5,000 cities, and filter by neighborhood, amenities and price. Guests can pay by credit card or paypal and can also schedule monthly payments.
To promote this new expansion, Airbnb are even offering to help pay the rent. Guests can use the code “SUBLETS” from now until September 8th to get $200 off their rent each month for up to 6 months, for stays longer than 28 days. Brian Chesky, co-founder and CEO of Airbnb said:
