A new collaboration between the designer icon and the department store giant is creating waves in the fashion world.

There are few women in the fashion world who inspire as much admiration as Carine Roitfeld. Designer muse, former-fashion editor, and all around glamorous style icon, Carine's latest gig has included the title of retail revolutionary. As part of Barneys' recent renaissance as the penultimate hip department store, comes the debut of ‘Carine’s World‘ — a stylish new Barneys' Fall 2011 Women's Campaign celebrating Roitfeld's iconic design sensibilities through equally striking images. Styled by Roitfeld and shot by legendary photographer Mario Sorrenti, the campaign includes friends, family, and colleagues of Roitfeld's shot the way she envisions them: bold, dynamic, and singular. Recently, Barney's even released a short video (see below) detailing Roitfeld's journey ‘from showrooms to the campaign shoot to her own Parisian apartment.'
