To promote its latest film, Contagion, Warner Bros. Canada teamed up with microbiologists to create two small billboards made entirely from bacteria. The billboards acted like a petri dish where live bacteria including penicillin, mold and pigmented bacteria infested the board to slowly reveal the movie title, ‘Contagion’.

Steven Soderbergh’s film Contagion has been released in US cinemas and stars Matt Damon, Kate Winslet, Jude Law and Gwyneth Paltrow. Watch the video below to see how the Contagion billboard was put together.
