Samsung may soon be integrating Windows into its new range of tablets, reports claim.

As the gadget wars continue to rage on, Samsung hopes to give its tablets a new upgrade by using a Windows-based operating system. Though it has not been released as an official statement by reps of both Samsung and Microsoft, rumors have been spreading via South Korean media. The confirmation is expected to be heard from Microsoft during a company conference in California this September.

Currently, Samsung and Apple are at loggerheads because of pending lawsuits served in several countries like Germany, Australia, and Japan, to name a few. This was following patent complaints by Apple on the design of the new series of Samsung Galaxy tablets, which were believed to have copied key features from the iPad. At present, Samsung maintains its standing as a leading contender in the realm of electronic gadgets, as it is reported to be the world’s largest manufacturer.
