Should Users Be Able To Make A Rifle Through 3D Printing?

Is there anything you can’t create using a 3D printer? On Thingiverse, one user uploaded a design for an AR-15 rifle magazine. This would seem to be bending number 5 of Thingiverse’s upload guidelines: “Please don’t upload weapons. The world has plenty of weapons already.” As this seemed to be allowed, a user called King Ludd uploaded a design for an AR-15 lower receiver in response.
