The Future Search Experience On The Tablet

Siri co-founder Norman Winarsky discusses how tablets are changing the way we search.

Mashable recently interviewed search expert Norman Winarsky (the co-founder of virtual personal assistant Siri, which was acquired by Apple earlier this year) about the opportunities that tablets present for performing searches. He believes that tablets will eventually enable users to experience full and interactive searching, incorporating the touchscreen, cameras and microphone. Our voice and gestures will be used to carry out searches and the tablets will process these in a near-cognitive fashion. Winarsky said:
