Apple Stores Go Dark For Steve Jobs Memorial [Headlines]

The computer company's retail stores closed from 10am to 11:30am Pacific time today.

Apple stores went dark at 10:00 this morning so employees could participate in a tribute to founder Steve Jobs.

A private memorial is being held at the company’s Infinite Loop campus in Cupertino today and will be webcast to Apple stores. The stores will be closed from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Promptly at ten the usually glittery store in downtown San Francisco closed its doors. The famous Genius Bar went quiet the sales force was empty.
