When pointed at included brand logos Blippar lets users interact with 3D objects and get information on recipes and more

Blippar is a new augmented reality application for tablet and smartphone devices that is capable of recognizing brands. The app bills itself as the first AR app created specifically for advertising. It has already attracted several major names, such as Cadbury and Tesco.

Rather than rely on QR codes to conjure brand information it recognizes their logos. When the app is pointed at them it generates a more interactive experience where consumers can play with 3D objects and learn more about a product through direct engagement.
