The Live Action ‘Toy Story’ Project: A Shot-By-Shot Fan Remake [Video]

Jonason Pauley is recreating the original movie using real toys and people.

A group of young filmmakers and Toy Story fans, led by Jonason Pauley, are working on a shot-by-shot remake of the classic movie. Instead of CGI, they are recreating the scenes using Toy Story toys, real people and sets.  They recently released a sneak peek with a video clip from the project showing Buzz Lightyear flying around Andy’s room. The video was even tweeted by Lee Unkrich, who worked on all three Toy Story movies, including writing and directing Toy Story 3.
