Zipcar Spreads To 36 New College Campuses [Headlines]

The car-sharing company's university program expanded rapidly under a partnership with Ford.

These past few months have been momentous for Zipcar. At the end of August, Ford announced their two-year partnership with the company, establishing themselves as the largest automotive source in Zipcar’s University Program. A month after their initial announcement, the duo launched “Students with Drive,” a grant program that provides students with free Zipcar memberships to support their community service activities and organizations, thanks to Ford, who agreed to provide $300,000 in grants.
