Norwegian beverage company Rosmersholm commemorates almost 50 years since the icon's death.

Rosmersholm from Norway have had a champagne produced by French house JM Gobillard & Fils along with a curvy flute to commemorate the iconic star Marilyn Monroe. Champagne Marilyn Monroe Premier Cru Brut, which debuted during the summer at the world’s largest wine trade fair in Bordeaux, is 50% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Noir and 25% Pinot Meunier and is produced in the Hautvillers, Cumières and Dizy areas.

Described as “full, fruity, silky and delicate”, the champagne has an elegant nose and has had three years of cellar-aging. The bottle and flute were created to honor the memory of Marilyn Monroe in time for the 50th anniversary of her death, which will be observed on August 5th 2012. The champagne can't be ordered from their website but a set of six curvaceous flutes can be purchased for €99.
