Citroën will launch an interactive campaign where tweeters can give live directions to a celebrity driver.

As part of a launch campaign for the Citroën DS5 vehicle, creative agencies Euro RSCG and Perfect Fools in Amsterdam have created the world’s first Twitter Race. The social media race has invited Dutch TV and radio host Froukje de Both as the driver, and a co-pilot will instruct her on specific directions by using aggregated tweets.

Tweeters can direct the car around the Netherlands using no more than 140 characters and by including the #ds5race hashtag. The event will be held on 17 November and will be streamed live on the Citroën NL Facebook page.
