In Southeast Asia, there has been an alarming rate of drug resistant malaria cases. If these cases are not contained and treated, it could put millions of people worldwide at risk.

Malaria is a parasitic disease that's often spread through mosquitoes and usually occurs in tropical and subtropical regions. Each year, more than 225 million malaria cases are reported and the disease kills  over 800,000 people.
