Founded in 1969 with a single store in San Francisco, Gap sold two items: denim and vinyl records. While establishing themselves by selling the former, Gap now gives a fitting salute to their musically-inclined roots by unveiling a colorful and euphonic multi-platform campaign to promote their holiday clothes line. Gap teams up with Filipino-Canadian internet singing sensation Maria Aragon, best known for her performance of Lady Gaga’s “Born This Way,” by showcasing Gap’s ‘I Want Candy’ collection to Bo Diddley’s clasic tune. In a week’s time, the video has reached about 100,000 views.
