A stunning collection of perfume bottles, including ones that belonged to the French queen and those designed by Salvador Dalí, is on view in Barcelona.

The Museum of Perfume in Barcelona houses over 5,000 essence and perfume bottles, from artifacts of ancient Egypt to those designed by today’s Bond No. 9. There are makeup palettes used by Pharaoh Amenhotep I, bottles from Santa Maria Novella, designed for the Medici family, and a sapphire cigarette case by Cartier. The New York Times.
