Mazda Places QR Codes On Rental Cars To Raise Awareness
One of the largest automotive manufacturers aims to increase sales with car renters.
Mazda will be Enterprise Holdings‘ first automotive partner when the car rental company launches its ‘OnRamp’ QR code program this week. The code will appear in Mazda 6 vehicles that are available to rent at Enterprise Rent-A-Car locations in the U.S., which also includes Alamo Rent A Car and National Car Rental.
The small graphic simply includes the QR code with the text ‘Like what you see? Scan the code and learn more’. Vehicle rental customers can scan the code with their smartphone, which will lead them to a mobile-optimized site that has more information about the Mazda 6. Enterprise believes that the program has the potential to reach up to a million car renters a day.
