If items are in stock, your order will be ready for collection just 12 minutes after you make a purchase using your iOS device.

There's going to be a new Apple Store iOS app released that will let customers buy items for in-store pickup and self-checkout at Apple retail stores nationwide. According to BGR, the new in-store pickup service will be super-fast, and if the item you order through the app or online is in stock, you can collect it from a designated store in just 12 minutes. You can simply walk into the store, skip the registers, sign for your order and leave with it. If your item isn't in stock, the app will inform you of the date it should become available and will send you a push notification when it's ready to be picked up.
