The fashion brand's new website released for the holdiays provides users with a upscale shoppable online catalog.
American fashion brand Ralph Lauren has created an exclusive microsite especially for the holiday season. The interactive site is visually engaging and consolidates the company’s other digital efforts such as its e-commerce site, online catalogs and digital magazine.
The website provides “glossy” layouts that mimic a printed catalog or instore display, that are completely shoppable — icons appear over the buy-able items. This plays into the larger online retail website trend of advertorials and “in situ” displays that allow consumers to get a feel for how products will translate into a real world setting.
