The venture capital group of Samsung Group and Translink Capital is helping expansion of YuMe, the operating system for TV 2.0.

Estimates project that more than 35 million smart TVs will be in US households by the end of the year and that 65% of televisions sold in 2012 will be connect-capable. Samsung’s $12 million investment in YuMe reflects the growing consumer demand. MarketWatch.
