A startup fashion jewelry company — Chloe + Isabel demonstrates the power of selling through organically-growing social networks. The company designs, produces, and markets fashion jewelry for interested sellers. These merchandisers, in turn, can sign up to create their own online boutique where they can sell Chloe + Isabel jewelry on a 30% commission. The company also provides all merchandisers training videos and trends reports to help them better target their customers. Chloe + Isabel has already raised over $10 million in venture capital and is currently working with lifestyle blog Refinery 29 on a campus ambassador program to recruit new Merchandisers. Check out a video of how this new startup works.
