Peter Seid and Phu Nguyen from Romotive have developed the Romo that allows anyone to turn their smartphone into a fully functional and programmable robot. The project initially started on the crowd funding site Kickstarter and has gained tremendous support. With still more than a week to go, it has received 806 backers and has pledged nearly $80,000.
