The social networking site revamps features to monitor your presence and see how communities overlap.

Select Twitter users received a notification Wednesday, upon signing in to their accounts, drawing attention to two new features on the social networking site, a reworked ‘@' panel and an ‘Activity' feed.

The Activity panel brings a lot of different information together in a Newsfeed-like stream. Favorites, follows, retweets, list adds and more from the people you follow. Whenever anything happens in your Twitter community, it will show up here. It is designed in a way to encourage a look beyond just who you follow by bringing their public interactions to one place, effectively creating a space for network overlap.
