New campaign draws attention to the electric car, which is now one year old.

To celebrate the Nissan Leaf’s first birthday, agency TBWA created a commercial that features singing electric outlets around the house. As the electric vehicle turns one year old, Nissan wants people to join the celebration with over 19,000 Leaf owners and spread the word on social networks. The Nissan Leaf Facebook page asks for happy birthday wishes and features a virtual birthday card you can “sign” by tagging your name. Twitter users can get involved by using the hashtag #LEAFbday.
