The app cleverly reacts when a mobile device's camera points to a Ford logo.

Most automakers these days release teaser renderings or cropped photos of new models prior to debuts at auto shows. Ford has gone a step further with the release of a Fusion app featuring their upcoming 2013 Fusion scheduled to be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show in January.

The app includes 19 driving courses and video interviews with staff designers and engineers. There is also an augmented reality feature which generates a pixelated 3D model of the new Fusion when the app is pointed at any Ford logo. The Ford Fusion app works on the iPhone, iPad and Android mobile devices.
