After Whole Foods Market engaged consumers online with a Twitter wine tasting last month, whisky brand Glenfiddich hosted a virtual tasting event of its own and streamed it live on Facebook and its microsite.

The whisky tasting was chaired by Glenfiddich brand ambassador Ian Miller in Madrid and included coverage of the company’s distillery in Aberdeen, Scotland. The Scotch whisky brand called upon Stream ES to stream, encode and create a microsite for the event. Fans were able to watch the innovative streaming event both on the dedicated microsite and via live Facebook feed.
