Online news and opinion site to roll out dedicated company blogs.

Huffington Post will be launching branded blogs on its U.K site, following suit in what HuffPo U.S. is already doing. The online news and opinion site allows selected bloggers, journalists and experts to contribute to various topics, ranging from technology, sports, politics and gossip.

The branded blogs will be rolled out first quarter next year and will allow companies to reach out to to a wider consumer audience. The dedicated blog will provide the company with a higher level of engagement compared to traditional banner ads . At this moment, no confirmed brand blogs have been confirmed for the U.K. site.
