Fast food giant asks consumers to come up with ideas for a 30-second video.

The fast food giant has recently announced a competition that invites consumers to come up with ideas for a McBites short film. McDonald's will be offering a total of $35,000 in prizes where 10 winning concepts will be selected to be made into 30-second video clips.

Rick Wion, Director of Social Media for McDonald's, hinted that one of the short films might even make it to TV. The competition will accept submissions until this week and the winning entries will be posted online in January 2012.
