A new San Fracisco-based start-up is helping Americans changing their snacking patterns with a monthly subscription snack box model. Lollihop, run by Suzanne Xie, Tamara Lucero-Rajaram M.D., and Craig Ferguson, focuses on finding healthy natural snacks that are packaged in a box to be sent out on a monthly basis to subscribers.

Our team of nutritionists have a set of guidelines that they check every ingredient and company against, and if the label doesn’t provide enough information, you can bet they will go directly to the source to find their answer. Snacks are hand-chosen for flavor, quality, nutrients, texture, and that thrilling something extra that great food always has.

The team sends out eight snacks per month starting at US$19 based on that month’s theme. For example, January’s theme is “Being lean” and February’s is “Heart healthy.” Moreover, the service provides tips and articles from nutritionists that help explain how to best incorporate the snacks into everyday life.
