Touchscreen Vending Machine That Recognizes Your Face [Video]
This concept model recommends products according to your age and gender.
Japanese company, Sanden, collaborated with Intel and Okaya Electronics to develop a concept vending machine that’s sure to turn heads. The vending machine features a 65-inch full HD see-through panel displayed at the front. The transparent touchscreen provides users with product information and plays animated graphics. What’s even more impressive? The in-built facial recognition technology that could recommend products based on your age and gender.
In addition to showing content relating to merchandising, the concept model also has a ‘public safety mode’ where it can display emergency and evacuation information.
