U.S. iPhone, iPad Demand 40% Higher Than Expected [Headlines]

Morgan Stanley's analysts predict that projected sales of the iPad will be 42% higher than previously estimated.

Apple Inc. sales of iPads and iPhones should continue to set records in 2012, according to a new report that shows demand for the devices running over 40 percent higher than expected.

Morgan Stanley analyst Katy Huberty wrote about the Alphawise study that projected sales of 82 million iPads next year, 42 percent above previous estimates.
