Window label will help customers better evaluate the environmental impact of each new Chevy model.

Taking a cue from grocery ingredient labels, Chevrolet announced this week that all of their new vehicles sold in the US will soon have Ecologic environmental labels applied at dealerships. The labels which are a first for any automaker, will list manufacturing, driving and recycling features which make each Chevy vehicle more friendly to the environment. Each claim on the Chevrolet-created labels is audited by Two Tomorrows, an independent third-party sustainability agency that provides auditing and assurance services to companies for environmental initiatives.
