The French couturier provides a fashionable one-ounce ingot for collectors and investors who want to hedge inflation.

French fashion designer and trendsetter Jean-Paul Gaultier has designed a one-ounce gold bar to be distributed in the U.S. by Dallas-based bullion trading company Dillon Gage Metals. The ingot provides a fashionable and luxurious way for investors to hedge against inflation and diversify holdings.

The gold bar is a collector's item, engraved with a heart marked with Gaultier's trademark sailor stripe. Rays radiate out from the heart and a scroll-like banner stretches across the middle, displaying the name Jean-Paul Gaultier.
