Todd Oldham creates 'Kid Made Modern,' a collection of art supplies and activity kits.

In a few months, Target will launch a kids arts and crafts line with affordable supplies and kits for creative fun. This is the result of a collaboration with designer Todd Oldham, who was inspired by his 2009 book Kid Made Modern, a colorful DIY guide that provides information about mid-century artists and aims to give children crafting confidence.

The exclusive Target collection, also named Kid Made Modern, will feature art supplies, activity sets and colorful projects to give children and parents fun yet affordable creative design tools. There will be “crazy crayons, neon-printed ducktape, jewelry kits, art papers and more.” It will be available in stores from May 20th.
