Heart Part is a uniquely-designed utensil that can be used as a fork, knife, and scoop. The clever design was created by Fatima Fazal, founder of iHeart, to encourage reuse of materials, and waste reduction. These 100% biodegradable utensils are made with 88% less plastic than traditional disposable cutlery and aims to lessen the impact on the environment in a world that sees landfills filled with over 40 billion plastic forks. Moreover, a small percentage of the profits will be donated to charity as part of the “Have A Heart” program. Available in five colors, each set sells for US$8.95. The website also features a blog and space for fans to post about what’s in their hearts. Check out a video of the cool utensil below.
