At the recent IDS12 show in Toronto, General Electric created an interesting mock home kitchen and dining room influenced by food culture and social dining. The stand highlighted the GE Café line of appliances which integrate features found in restaurant and commercial kitchens to models scaled for home kitchens. An eye catching element of the stand was the market-style display of ingredients at each entry. The Café line is aimed at individuals who are passionate about ingredients and the cooking process.
