2011 was a busy year for DJ Spooky. As if touring the world and writing The Book of Ice were not enough, he also worked alongside Musicsoft Arts (a mobile arts company) to create a free DJing app.

The DJ Spooky app, which can be purchased on iTunes, comes with scratching capabilities, filters, fades, and EQ capabilities. It makes DJing very easy, so it’s ideal for someone who wants to mix tracks at a party. DJ Spooky himself uses it when he DJs live. According to the product description users can:
