The makers of the voice-controlled technology partners with Gracenote to develop new media specific digital search technology.

Nuance has recently announced a 10-year strategic partnership with Gracenote to produce next-generation voice-activated innovations. Nuance, who are responsible for providing the platform to develop Apple’s Siri, will leverage off Gracenote’s large database of music, films, TV shows, and videos. VoCon Music Premium will be the first joint-project to be rolled out later this year where users can simply say the name of the artist, song, or album they’re looking for, and receive instant results. The technology can be implemented for vehicles, phones, TVs, and mobile apps, giving consumers “an amazing media experience anywhere they access content.”
