Electronics giant Samsung has revealed its brand new portable induction burner for small kitchens. The elegantly-designed device features an iPod-like touch wheel to adjust heat levels. A winner in the 2012 iF Design Awards, the hob features a compact design and slim rounded shape. It will also be made available in a variety of colors, including Capri Blue, Mint Green, Stylish Black, and Cream White. The introduction of the new kitchen appliance is a change from Samsung’s technologically-advanced home electronics. At the same time, it is interesting to see the incorporation of entertainment elements such as the touch wheel into Samsung’s other offerings.

The hob features a pan detection system, 15 different power levels, and automatic settings to boil water or just keep food warm. Safety features such as anti-overflow system, child safety lock, and residual heat detection makes this portable burner one of the most technologically-advanced kitchen appliances.
