Siri Debuts As A Lead Vocalist On New Flaming Lips Track

Apple's voice command technology sings in an experimental song by popular indie band.

Indie rock band The Flaming Lips has featured Apple’s voice command feature Siri on its new song. The song titled ‘Now I Understand‘ has Siri ‘singing’ lead vocal parts alongside Erykah Badu and Biz Markie.

In the song, Siri addresses to The Flaming Lip’s frontman Wayne Coyne with the electronic spokne words, “Wayne, I don’t understand the moon, the stars and the sun.” The song has been played nearly 100,000 times since being uploaded to SoundCloud just five days ago. The experimental track is available to download for a limited time only.
