A U.S. housing agency, Campus Apartments, has created a unique payment portal that allows students to pay their bills via Facebook. Students and their guardians can log into SmartClick using their Facebook account and easily set up automatic monthly payments, link credit card payments, and even handle any billing issues via the platform.

Campus Apartments is one of the largest owners and managers of student housing in the U.S., with over 32,000 housing beds at over 70 colleges in 24 states. John Ailor, Senior Director of Web and Wireless Technology at Campus Apartments explained:

Nearly all our residents and many of their parents are on Facebook throughout the day so this was a natural evolution of the portal.
