Bubbly is a new iOS app created by Bubble Motion that allows users to send voice messages and tweets. The service, which brings social networking on mobile phones to a new level, is like “Twitter with a voice.” Users simply simply dial a short-code (for example *7*), record your message, and hang up to post an update. People then can share SMS and voice updates with friends, family, fans and followers.  As a follower, users will get notified via SMS whenever someone they follow records a new update.

Bubbly has accumulated more than 15 million overall users and has exchanged over 1 billion bubble messages across multiple telecom operators in India. While this unique voice blogging service is only available in India, plans to expand throughout Asia are in the works. The app is likely to meet with success in Japan, where there is an estimated 8 million plus iPhones. And finally, an Android version is in development and should be available in a few months.
