Aganetha Dyck places objects into hives where they are transformed into inventive sculptures.

Canadian artist Aganetha Dyck is best known for creating artwork in collaboration with live honeybees, travelling to the hives each week to check on how the process is going. She has placed ordinary household objects like figurines or lamps inside a beehive and then returned to change their placement or remove parts of the honeycomb.

These objects are transformed into unique and ethereal sculptures, with parts covered in honeycomb as a result of an inventive collaboration with nature. Click through to see a selection of Dyck's bee work:
